Positive Review: batfossil, #98097.
Who: batfossil, #98097.
What: custom accents/skins.
Why: they went above and beyond to finalize my vision.
When: ~3 months; received printed copies july 26th.
Explain: i messaged batfossil about a custom accent while they were (technically) closed for customs. they gracefully accepted my proposal and immediately shot me over a quick sketch, adding that the time necessary to finish to proposal may be longer than expected due to their real-life work. i was thankful that they mentioned this BEFORE i agreed to moving beyond the sketch stage.
we agreed on payment, (1) archivist’s spell scroll, for (5) copies of the custom. [the price of the spell scroll changed significantly in the months we did business, from ~7,000 gems to ~4,800 gems at the lowest i saw sold in the forums. batfossil kept our original deal anyways.] we went back and forth with edits for roughly three months? i’m not sure of the exact time because i delete messages, but every time i would send 3+ edits each message, they immediately acknowledged my messages and added if the edit could be done.
they also made sure to notify me with any delays, one of which was personal and serious, which i found to be admirable considering that they could have understandably disappeared and said nothing given the circumstances. furthermore, as i mentioned before, i was sending 3+ edits every message, and our message titles look like so: “Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: R…” (actual copy-paste there) with some obvious cut-off. despite my nit-pickiness, this user always remained kind and professional.
i totally recommend them for their transparency and determination in their work and service to others. i wholeheartedly recommend their services.
