Positive Review for tapcap #259499
Who: tapcap #259499
What: Breeding Card Art
Why: Promptness and quality!
When: 5/22/20
Explain: Was needing some breeding cards done for my hatchery and after a week of personal attempt I just gave up and went to the forums to commission someone else. Lo and behold, I found tapcap's breeding cards! As of writing, they offer 5 different styles that are really nice and they are willing to try new ideas if you have them. Their services are quite affordable if you are just starting out your hatchery and don't want to invest to much into breeding cards for pairs you might not keep. Lastly, tapcap was extremely fast! I ordered 6 cards from them and expected it to take a couple of weeks, but I received them within a day and a half with an apology for them taking so long to complete them (they did the cards faster than I anticipated and was confused to why I had a PM when I wasn't expecting one). Overall, amazing experience!
Negative Review: DrMoneybags #419885
Who: DrMoneybags #419885
What: Auction
Why: Was doing an auction, wanted to cancel it and got rude at me.
When: January 8th 2020
Explain: So, DrMoneybags did an auction for their Fog/Orca/Orca that got hatched during NotN. I was a bit interested in him and took the SB on it.
Today I got the LDP for it and it stated that there might not be a winner, even though I obviously took the SB- which somebody else pointed out as well.
https://i.imgur.com/LRvEDqo.png
So, confused I replied to the person pointing it out that I didnt retract my bid, especially since the rules included that bids may not be withdrawn.
Their response to that was saddening tbf.
https://i.imgur.com/TlWZwR8.png
I tried to offer more and tried to explain that right after NotN flatsales might not be the best option, especially since they didnt get as much interest as they probably hoped for.
I agree that 3-5kG for a double orca Gen1 were still pretty low but seeing that nobody else was outbidding me even after the last day ping shouldve told them already that nobody else was gonna spend more than that- at least for now.
https://i.imgur.com/E6MVtdk.png
Their response was already pretty rude. I still tried to stay friendly though as I dislike drama and would like to avoid it
Though after trying again they just became more rude and that’s where I gave up on it.
https://i.imgur.com/zeszPma.png
After that all I said was “I see. Good luck”

Positive Review for VohelART
Who: VohelART (#383681) What: Art Sales Why: <3 For being lightning quick and top tier trustworthy! When: 12/13/2019 Explain: I was running late IRL, but right before I left I saw Their thread (with open slots), so I went ahead and sent the appropriate CR and lodged my request before having a confirmed slot, but they accepted and completed the order overnight with no complaints (very kind) and tbh without a confirmed slot I half expected them to just take to items+$ and bop, but no, this person is fast and honorable!

Negative Review: CoffeeShoppe #483014
Who: CoffeeShoppe #483014
What: Leveling Service
Why: Sent 2 dragons to be leveled. The 2nd time I asked for them back, I was blocked and my dragons were exalted.
When: Sent dragons 8/18. Was pinged to thread ~2 weeks later mentioning delay. Asked for dragons back ~9/18. Asked again for dragons back 10/22.
Explain: Unfortunately, they deleted the thread and I did not take screenshots as I didn't believe they would go to this extent, so all I have are my words and images of the CR, and links to the now exalted dragons.
They were doing a discount during the first week of posting the thread; 150g for 1-25 in 7-10 days. I had seen them around before and they seemed friendly enough, so I did not ask for collateral. My mistake, I know. Roughly 2 weeks passed and they pinged me and the other user saying that because of hurricanes their internet had been having issues. Since at school I can access everything except the coli, it seems plausible for them to still be active but unable to train. A month after sending them over, I asked for the dragons back, since that one ping had been the only communication.
They replied saying that they would get around to it soon, and that the dragons would be leveled by the end of the week. I said okay, please keep me updated. They did not. And the dragons' levels did not change.
So on 10/22, after seeing them post in another thread, I decided to ask again for my dragons back. They did not respond. I found out I was blocked when I saw them post again and clicked on their profile to get a link back to the leveling service.
Went through my CRs and sure enough, the dragons are now exalted to the stormcatcher (their deity).

They are continuing to offer leveling as a service, so I'm worried this will happen again.

Negative Review: ilios #411894
Who: ilios #411894
What: Commissioning Art - Reference Sheet
Why: I paid 2.5kg. They gave me a Ref Sheet that is missing multiple things, lineart is messy, and coloring is quite lazy.
When: September 8th, 2019 - September 24th, 2019
Explain: See https://imgur.com/a/6PnXOsn for screenshots.
I posted a 'looking for' post on flight rising looking for a reference sheet of a character i had just gotten. ilios approached me, interested in doing my commission. She linked me her instagram, which had some beautiful lined, shaded, and generally professional looking ref sheets.
I told her i'd love to commission her and asked her how much she charged. She at first said 1.5kg and being an artist myself, i knew what it was like to underprice yourself. I told her the art quality was worth a little more than 1.5kg and she changed the price to 2.5kg. I agreed with that price and the deal was set.
She sent me a sketch, which looked very promising. Note: it had the color palette, name, and info sections. I told her it was great and sent her the payment. Later in the week, she told me she couldn't finish my commission and asked if i'd like a refund. I agreed, but told her to take a little for herself since she'd already worked hard on the lines/colors. I expected her to take at most 7-800kt, but she took 100kt.
Then, on September 21st, i noticed she'd been taking signature commissions since the 14th. I sent her a message just asking if she was planning on finishing my commission. She told me that she hadn't started on the signature commissions since she still hadn't finished mine.
Not even three hours later, I receive the finished product. At first glance, everything looked a-okay. All except the background, which was stark white and not the simple background i asked for. I asked her if she could change the background from white to transparent or a solid color other than white. She said she could.
I poke her five days later because all I had asked for was a background change, which i think personally should take at most ten minutes. She says she'd been busy and sends me another copy of the ref sheet which still has a white background.
Currently, she's on a hiatus and her return date is unknown. She posts on instagram almost everyday.

What: Dragon Sales
Why: Very kind and nice, gave me a discount even though it was their birthday
When: Late June, 2019
Explain: I had previously encountered SF via the search forums, where she offered to breed 2 of her dragons and sell me a hatchling for a project I had. She said she'd take 20k for a Wasp/Shimmer XXY hatchling, which was a fantastic price already. I happily agreed.
Later on, when I had sort of forgotten about it (breeding cooldowns and all that), she contacted me to show me the hatchlings, who were absolutely stunning. SF said that because it was her birthday soon, she'd give me a discount on the hatchling; only 12kt for a XXY skydancer! It was the sweetest thing and I ended up giving her a gift and a tip as thanks. It was very nice of them to do that and I am so grateful. Thank you, SF! :D

Positive Review: CelestialSprites #93317
Who: CelestialSprites #93317
What: Art Shop
Why: Very friendly and polite.
When: 5/25/19 - 5/27/19
Explain: CelestialSprites PMed me asking if I would hold an Archivists Spellscroll that I had on AH for 4kg and offered me partial payment using gems. items, and art. I'm a sucker for art so I was happy to take nothing but art for it which they were fine with.
They showed me their art shop and said they could do 2 full bodies to make 4kg, so I let them pick the dragons they wanted to draw and within just a day both pieces were done! I asked for a small preview of the art before I sent them the scroll which they were happy to oblige with, and that was that.
The next day I noticed a small mistake while putting the art in one of the dragon's bio so I PMed CelestialSprites asking for a quick fix if possible. They got back to me a few hours later with an updated version and apologized for the mistake. Overall they were a really friendly and efficient artist, I'd gladly buy from them in the future!
Negative Review: Wafflesnluna #264068
Who: Wafflesnluna #264068
What: Commissioning artwork - glassblowing.
Why: I paid them a Light Sprite, 15k gems, & more. They never delivered & stopped communicating with me.
When: Late 2016
Explain: See https://imgur.com/a/SArnCfG for screenshots.
I approached Waffles to make glass blown vases for Christmas in 2016. We communicated back and forth and came to an agreement on pricing, which included a light sprite, 15k gems, as well as misc. retired apparel, skins, etc. They kept me updated up until Dec 2016, at which time they said they had finished 1 of the vases and would send it to me. Soon after they stopped communicating with me and I never received the items. They were posting on the forums after this but seem to have left the site now.
I know it's been a very long time, but I was waiting for a response from FR about whether or not I would be able to retrieve my items - unsurprisingly, they've said that I can't. It took a couple of years to get that answer which is a little disappointing! :) I know it's my own fault for sending the payment in advance, around the same time I was commissioning a lot of artwork and was similarly ghosted by a few artists. I won't make the same mistake again, haha!
Waffles is no longer on the site but just in case they return I thought it would be best to send in a review anyway.
Positive Review for Theine #245361
Who: Theine #245361
What: Adopt Commission
Why: Absolutely amazing work, better than I even expected! Timely, and super sweet, and took requests to change the color of the mouth for me.
When: May 01 - May 02
Explain: I wanted to get the Snakebite Mirror adopt from them for a while, they didn't cost an arm and a leg as most adopts do and they were super high quality and beautiful. When I had enough laying around to make my order, I was so surprised at how fast it came in! I thought I would be waiting a few days at least, but they did the order super fast and I was beyond impressed with how it came out. It was absolutely beautiful, 10/10, and I would recommend everyone go check it out for your Mirror/Bogsneak art needs!
Positive Review: NoodleStuff #270762
Who: NoodleStuff #270762 What: Commission Why: Very polite and friendly, hardly any wait-time. When: Commission bought on May 4th 2019, delivered May 11th 2019. Explain: I was pretty confused by their pricing since before the thread didn’t have conversions, but even with a lot of questions they were still very polite with my misunderstandings. When I PMd about a commission they were quick to respond, very polite and within the day I had a sketch. They took about a week to finish the piece, and considering the patterns (jagros), apparel, and the fact that it was a painted-style it was very quick. Definitely would commission again.
Negative Review: Elanyx, #453014
Who: Elanyx, #453014
What: Sales, auctions, etc.
Why: Scamming users out of special ID dragons, general shady behavior
When: This has been going on for a while, so it’s impossible to pinpoint where exactly it started.
Explain:
Elanyx, formerly known as Silverwolv, has been scamming users out of dragons with special IDs and reselling them for extreme profits. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but the method that they use is very scummy and shady.
(x)
Here she is reselling that same dragon. It was immediately autobought for 400kt/g.
(x)
(x)
(x) (Also note that she claims it XXY first, then XYY.)
(x)
Reselling those dragons again:
(x)
(x)
(x) They attempted to get another dragon but the owner was informed that the dragon was worth something.
They’ve admitted to this method on the old SIDREP thread before it was removed.
(x)
They’re also encouraging another user to do the same things they’re doing.
(x)
They also attempted to end an auction early. They claimed that they misread their post, but given their current behavior I wouldn’t doubt it if they truly did want to end it early. The auction was for #51110000, screenshot of said auction above.
(x)
Note that my bid was at 15:35:22 server time. Here you can see they acknowledged my bid.
(x)
Cunea’s bid was at 22:28:47.
(x)
I was given this ping at 10:52:42 on April 25th. There was still approx. 12 hours left in the auction.
They also knowingly lowball users for special ID dragons.
(x)
There’s also some proof floating around that she’s using the guise of a boyfriend and sibling to get away with multiaccounting, but that in itself is an entirely different can of worms and can be read about here. (Archive)
