Batgotti chuckles as V kneads at his side, smiling fondly down at her. He shifts and places a blanket over her as he drags her into his side for a nice little cuddle. He settles back with a book and quietly reads while silently enjoying her company.

Hey so, sorry about the long abscence guys. I swear I haven't abandoned this blog or anything I just haven't been working on any art lately. Or...well... none that I can upload just yet. Because reasons. BUT I did finish this sketch tonight and I wanted to get it up before I enter the busy holidays and start finally getting seen by just...so many doctors. Just all the doctors you guys.

Ugh. Anyway these are the holo-matter avatar versions (or human versions) of my transformer ocs Redstrike, Spyder and Batgotti. Or at least, how they would look in the 1980s. I had a lot of fun working on this. Redstrike's look is inspired by some agender glam rockers from the time period. Spyder could basically fit into any time period after the 1970s since he's bit of a basic mechanic/punk. And Batgotti (despite not being a vampire bat) is definitely sporting a look based off of some vampire tropes from the period (mainly Fright Night and the Lost Boys).

Batgotti, as part of Redstrike's security retinue often wound up checking his packages for him. Redstrike often didn't even see what he'd been given if his brother reported it as a threat or something his brother just wouldn't want to keep. Insulting gifts in particular were usually just tossed. Sadly receiving sex toys was fairly normal so Batgotti wasn't surprised when he opened the unmarked box to discover the dual toy.

Honestly he was more surprised by the realistic proportions more than anything. Still, an inspection needed to be made.

Starting with the spike Batgotti carefully felt up along the shaft, squeezing gently to see if anything dangerous was hidden inside. He was even careful to open the transfluid line to get a peak inside to ensure nothing dangerous would come shooting out. When his bare optic didn't give him the answers he wanted he reached for a long, thin probe.

He was gentle as he eased it in, down the line and prodding carefully within to ensure nothing was hidden within. While the probe did seem to reach quite a bit further than he expected he pulled it out to be met with just some fairly realistic transfluid and nothing else visibly present. He carefully placed the probe into a tube to test later and then began his inspection of the valve.

First, came the gentle prodding to ensure nothing hidden within the mesh, then he spread the valve lips apart to view between them and then within the valve itself. He was gentle of course. Careful. He'd hate to break something his brother might actually use. The toy was surprisingly warm and already damp which was odd, but not terribly concerning. Still Batgotti was curious as he shined a light within the valve and carefully prodded around, surprised when he found sensors inside as if it were a real mech's valve instead of just a very realistic replica.

Batgotti usually only removed his armor when he was in need of a deep cleaning or he had a particular spot to patch. But today, he'd removed it because a certain little reptile he'd been studying has gotten itself wedged beneath it and he needed to be careful about how he pulled it out.

He was just putting it away when the door to his lab opened spilling light into his darkened lab and catching him at just the right angle to spot light him. He hissed and hastily covered his exposed refineries and array with his wings, golden optics flaring.

"Do you mind?! What do you think you're doing entering my space without knocking?!" He accuses, desperate to throw the attention away from his exposed form.

That flitty little femme is only around to flirt, she'd much weather have a handsome wrecker on her arm.

The boys are all blinking at this one as they try to parse it. "It's not just me right? This doesn't make much sense?" Codeblue asks.

Redstrike shakes his head, "I think their predictive text ran away from them. I THINK they were trying to say 'that flighty little femme is only around to flirt, she much rather have a handsome wrecker on her arm'."

Spyder blinks and then points at himself, "Is that one aimed at me? Is this about Tess? Cuz if it is I mean... I know she could do better but this sounds dumb. You're dumb gray face. And rude. Tessa's not like that."

Batgotti hums and then shrugs, "Personally I think if they can't even bother to check if their grammar is correct then they can't be very good at insulting any of us in a way that actually matters."

Another sparkling? Well, Mourningstar has just what baby Batgotti could do with, a copper-chip cookie!

"Here you go, little one.~ A nice treat for baby bat," Mourningstar chirped, handing over the sweet morsel.

The little batling is going to stare at the cookie and then up at Mourningstar and then back at the cookie before taking it and nibbling on it. No thank you. Just cookie eating. He is then going to climb onto her arm and latch on so he can lick her hand clean of any leftover residue. His claws are tiny but sharp and he is NOT being careful about them.

Probably because he hasn't learned how to yet. But also he doesn't appear to care too much.

Had a brief moment of clarity. Enough of one to get my drafts done anyway lol. But also it got me thinking about the cute niche things that make my boys light up. Not sexually speaking mind you just...like... in general.

Spyder - Spaceships, engineering, the twins, dancing, and music in general but mostly the specific sorts he's into. He's also always happy to talk about ridiculous day-time dramas particularly telenovelas as he's a big fan of the over-the-top storylines and romance. Spyder also likes to just sit and knit sometimes so he's happy to talk about that process as well.

Codeblue - Surprisingly Codeblue is a big fan of video games, particularly fighting games, rpgs, and dating sims. He also loves TERRIBLE poetry and extremely saucy romance novels. He's also big into talking about engex and moonshine and he'll go on for days about Gary. He likes telling stories about his life and talking out elaborate pranks (so long as they don't involve someone getting hurt). He's also a big fan of game shows.

Batgotti - Batgotti has a niche and that niche is gardening and animals. He loves the cybernetic, cyber-organic, and organic kind and will happily talk your ear off about all three. He's also a big fan of opera and classical music and has a refined taste for various engex wines. He's a big fan of mystery novels, particularly pulpy ones and enjoys watching the occasional crime documentary.

Redstrike - Out of all of the boys Red's got the longest list of hobbies. He's interested in art in just about all it's forms, he likes talking about the process of making dyes and what type of materials are best for what kind of project. He's particular about his tastes but he respects the majority of the art world and shows it. He loves smutty romance novels and horror movies as well as horribly fluffy cartoons so long as they're not too 'dumbed down'. He likes musical theater and poetry and has a deep love for tea parties/tea ceremonies. He loves both super cute items and super pretty knick-knacks and jewelry and likes fashion to a point. He studies history and science for fun and likes discussing music and interesting scientific facts. The main reason he does so well as a courtesan is because of his incredibly vast amount of interests. He really does epitomize the 'jack of all trades' mentality to a grand extent.

Scalpel - Scalpel has a love for figure skating and ballet as well as a deep love for baking and holistic medicine on top of traditional approaches. She's quite the seamstress and has a deep fascination with fashion. She also has a particular fondness for birds.
