Roman emperor Caracalla was born on this day in 188 AD. During his short tenure and before his death at the age of 29, he became known for the completion of the Baths of Caracalla, the second largest public baths in all of Rome, which might not sound as impressive as conquering lands or collecting riches, but he still managed to clean up for himself.
