For the sake of this account being two years old now i present you some doodles i did in school today
Also i might get in that art school i'll get the news on summer fingers crossed i'll get in because i REALLY wish to make art for a living
Barley's new design for my au! Yes, he looks more harmless now than he did before. And now he's... Small. Haha-
Bendy Hunger Games, part 2!
The first part was so much fun, I just couldn’t resist doing a second one! Last time, ol’ Willy won, so let’s see who can best him this time.
Here’s our cast, once again
I did some minor changes, as in changed some pics, but that’s about it.
LET’S GO
The Revival Begins!
I wasn't expecting to make another post so quickly but I had the motivation to just entirely finish Pipers animation set last night, so here we are! I'll consider this the master post, so let's begin.
This was supposed to be a quick 10-20 minute modeling project cause I wanted to see if Striker would work as a blocky mess and well... one thing led to another. I started with Striker and his model is based off a mixture of his BATIM and BATDR designs, opting for the head and limb structure of BATDR and the overall body shape of BATIM. I also carried this philosophy over to his animations, when not in combat he'll walk on his hind legs and use his 5fth arm as support like in BATIM, but charges on all 5s like in BATDR. I'm super proud of how this came out!
(He also has eye tracking, teehee.)
Up next is Fisher. And... wow, he was not fun. Again his design was a mix of the two designs, he was super fun to rig though! His textures gave me a hard time, with him being the only one of the trio to make me start over a few times. He fights with his fishing Hook, which was newly introduced in BATDR. It's a cute detail I couldn't pass up when making his model. You can even obtain it as a weapon!
And finally, Piper. Piper was the one I was afraid of the most, I was terrified of making his rig. Turns out it wasn't so bad, I worked myself up for nothing. His mouth was a pain but I'm happy with how he came out! Animating him was super fun. He'll be attacking with his wrench, which I haven't modeled yet. When I do it'll be obtainable as a weapon, much like Fisher's hook. I'm considering making it a throw-able projectile, even.
All in all as a trio I'm still working out their A.I, I'd love to have them all have unique attributes such as having Piper give strength to his crew and having Striker climb walls. Working on them was amazing, I got to try and make them all unique but I also tried my hardest to stay as true to the source material as possible, loved it.
Also something fun to note is that all of their voices are sourced from the game, I love their voice acting so-so-so much, they're doofy and creepy at the same time, all very fitting!! I've got some cleaning up, and then I might tackle some other enemies such as Searchers and maybe Slicer (I have no clue how she'd work aaaa) but for now, that's all.
Still cartoons
I swear, I’m alive.
