Summary: Set a few months after the events of As We Go Along, Bruce and Joker are now in the throes of a reignited commitment to each other. Though, in many ways, much remains the same. While Bruce navigates all the consequences that come with such a choice, Joker finds himself caught in his own unexpected internal battle, grappling with lingering side effects from Hush and Scarecrow’s torture. A gate from the deepest corner of his mind is threatening to crack wide open and Joker is willing to go to any lengths to weld it shut.
As the two men battle both their minds and what it means to be together, relationships are tested, and Gotham gets caught in the crosshairs, for better and for worse.
