Snapshots and the "battle royale" part of the loop are not canon. They were only created for a collab comic which has too many inconsistencies with the main game's trailers, lore, and events. If Zero War and the Batman comics were canon, 99% of everything that happened in the story in Chapter 1 and 2 wouldn't have been possible. Also Batman would absolutely not be able to win every single game if he actually was trapped in a battle royale with all of the strongest fighters in the omniverse, especially when there's guns involved. (Fortnite needs to take better care of their original characters 😢)

Fortnite: a new costume was launched in the battle royale game

Epic Games has released the Batman Zero skin in “Fortnite”. The outfit is available alongside a new glider for the hero.

[Jonathan] and I haven't figured out a way to write a sequel to The Dark Knight without including The Joker. So, in accordance with what we think Heath Ledger's dying wishes might well have been, we will be rebooting the Batman franchise. I think I can say we all look forward to 2013's The Batman Zero, starring Lil Wayne as Broose Whaynnhe / The Batman.
