Michael Keaton Joins The Cast of Batgirl

Keaton has joined the upcoming HBO Max film, Batgirl. Keaton is expected to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, which he first began portraying back in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns.

Keaton is also reprising his role in The Flash, starring Ezra Miller and due in theaters Nov. 4, 2022.

Batgirl, will star Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon, the hero and daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon. The movie is already in production, shooting in London. J.K. Simmons, reprising his role as Commissioner Gordon from Justice League.

No release date has been set for Batgirl.

The French IGN posted this image yesterday, promoting an upcoming Warner Bros. announcement. Could it be a new entry in the Batman Arkham series? The WB logo does seem to have a similar color scheme as Batman: Arkham Origins, which was done by WB Games Montreal and not Rocksteady. There's been rumors about a Damian Wayne lead Batman Beyond game for months, and also a Suicide Squad game. Furthermore, in the comments of their tweet IGN dismissed replies suggesting the announcement is about Injustice 2 or Shadow of Mordor. What do you think?
