You like bats and spiders right? I'm kind of scared of them, could you explain why you like them? I want to like them too!
With bats it's like Talyn said, "Bats are cute little puppy baby bat, fly fly baby dogs!"
They're super adorable (flying foxes are the type I would point you to first because they have the cutest eyes) and they fly without any hint of being modern dinosaurs. They live in these big families and argue like siblings. Sure there are vampire bats who like livestock and not people, but they're small and don't go after humans. Heck, the vast majority eat fruit and bugs. I like animals planting seeds and I don't like bugs. At all.
Which is why I also like spiders. Plus they make the prettiest webs and are just chill in general and they do their own thing. They can have a creepy look about them but they have a certain beauty to them. Up close the fuzzy ones are cute in their own way with their paws and their wiggly pedipalps that look like silly mustaches and their big babie eyes. Tarantulas are like dumb cats that can twerk. I would definitely look up jumping spiders if you're feeling brave because the males are colorful and they're probably the cutest darn arachnids you can find. If you're not feeling that brave but a little bit, look up Lucas the Spider. It's a series of very short videos of a young spooder exploring the human world, voiced by a kid. It's adorable.
If you're scared it helps to remember that these animals are just doing their thing and are scared of big bad you and they will run unless given reason to attack, which is rare. It won't make the fear go away, and that's okay. It's okay to be scared as long as you don't try to harm them, because they really aren't trying to do anything to you. Live and let live.
