I think I should talk about rpg battle powers now. Instead of magic, the characters have powers acquired through various means, Tabitha is electric, Alan controls stars, and Taryn controls light and color, which is a lot more dangerous than it sounds

Outside of battle, Tabitha really just can power electric objects, Taryn can fly, and Alan can use stars to prove obscure riddles as shown here as well as make things.

In battle, Tabitha is an offensive, Taryn is a mix of offensive with less special powers and healing, and Alan is a healer.

What I'm going for in terms of battle system is something like the Mario and Luigi RPG series, and the Mother series were put in a blender, ie turn based with controlling solo, duo, and trio attacks.
