Battle Bowsette progress. Contact cement and I don’t get along (asthma) so I’ll get help with assembly when James is off work again. I hand carved the reptile skin into the chest plate & belt, then hit it lightly with the heat gun to open up the places I carved. It’ll look really cool after it’s all painted. This is 5mm @yayahan craft foam from @joann_stores and one sheet is enough to do most of my cosplay. I also bought the 10mm foam dowels to turn into a carved bone-like trim for the chest & belt. I found about a yard of black upholstery leather in my fabric stash, but idk what I’d use it for with her. I’ll have to reinforce the green turtle shells, detail them, and weather them before I add the spikes & attach them. They’re not as thick as the black foam. I also have a self-leveling resin I’m gonna see about coating all this in once it’s done. That way, NOTHING will mess it up. #cosplaywip #cosplayarmor #foamarmor #battlebowsette #armorwip #cosplayfoam #cosplayfoamarmor #plussizecosplay #plussizearmor #plussizecosplayarmor https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ar6lVDcG8/?igshid=k0s9nuj7y6yk
