A man of few words with a heart of gold; sometimes called 'Hurty Bertie' on account of his passion for putting spikes on things. A gifted leatherworker and craftsman who also, well, clearly likes wearing leather, too. Uses his body as a weapon just as much as his heavy (spiked) battleaxes.

UNDER THE CUT: old 2024 design & notes

In case anybody ever forgets I'm a cartoonist at heart. Bertie's design has always been peak, I just needed to draw a full image of him for these redesigns so I fleshed out the color scheme a little more. I miss the big axe a little but there are so many folks with two-handed weapons in the roster already that I figured I'd make him dual wield.

I do like Bertie's old pose better but I promised myself I wouldn't futz around with these guys anymore until they're all posted here.
