battlewounds never fully heal. when it comes to soldiers , what they do in times of war will ALWAYS stick with them . at least when it comes to the pair of men they have that in common and the knowledge of relating to one another never leaves them feeling alone . or at least it shouldn’t. thor knows what terry has gone through , what they all went through over there . the only difference is some came home with more demons than others . thor took to exercise and bodybuilding to help clear his mind and help his recovery when his knee wanted to give out on him .  

terry looks a little worse for wear these days like something is eating at him from the outside in . they are both very different people than what they used to be . where it seems he went forward , terry still lives in the past .  the burger joint they occupy is one that thor knows well and where he sits on the patio the sun shines just over terry’s shoulder . the burger is placed back onto his plate before he ever takes a bite giving his full , undivided attention to his comrade . ❝  and what makes you think everything before that wasn’t some kind of good , terry . you don’t give yourself near enough credit . ❞
