So, this is a side AU that I'm making solely just as a reference to put into a Multiverse I'm working on.

Anyways, this is Shield, he is from Battletale, Undertale, but medival fantasy RPG-ish, and the bird will be explained bellow.

Shield is actually a twin, his twin's name is Guard, and they are both Sanses.

Papyrus (Sword) and Wingdings (Dagger) (I make Gaster a last name because his name being Wingdings fits the font theme) are both brothers, but the twins are instead, their cousin.

For the plot when Wingdings dies, Papyrus is sibling-adopted by Undyne (Spear).

Shield is a medic, Guard is well, a guard, Sword and Spear are guards aswell and Dagger is an alchemist.

But the main thing for this characters is that, Error destroyed this AU, Guard and Shield are the only ones left, and have been universe hopping ever since.

They were offered more than once to go to the Omega Timeline, but Guard is very distrustful of Core Frisk and the Stars, and also most in general, so they usually crash in a different universe each day.

They also took using owl masks to hide their identity in case Error runs after them (with the bonus benefit of Dream absolutely hating it). Between the hoppings, Shield took a bit of an intrest in mechanics, and Guard took in a little bird he called Pretzel when they were both taking a break in Fluffytale. Flex With Me Bra! [Flats Edition]

Shoutout to @swindle94 for giving my old piece some new life with a splash of colour!

A small series of sketches featuring Battleborn's badass clone trooper, Oscar Mike and Undertale's hot-blooded captain of the royal guard, Undyne. These two always struck me as characters who'd get along very well with their macho and over-the-top antics. Mike might be a little more reserved but Undyne could easily motivate him to be the best he can be. Also helps that they're both fish. I'm curious to read what you'd caption under these drawings- commenting is encouraged!

Alright, I finished Guard.

I didn't notice it at first but I kinda used a color pallet alike to Epic lol.

So, I already rambled about the simple view of these characters, I'm gonna ramble a bit over the twins (A lot of it will be information I thought just now).

So, this is for most of my AU's, but I consider their eye thing as a skeleton quirk, which I call eyelight soul, because it isn't part of their soul, but their eyelights represent what their soul would be as a human, like, Undertale Sans being Patience and Justice and all that.

Shield has an "eyelight soul" of Kindness, and Guard has one of Perseverance, Sword has Bravery and Dagger has Integrity.

Shield is actually the older twin, however not the taller so that sometimes gets people confused.

In Shield's gloves, he has a pad of electricity in the palm of their hands, with the strenght of a police taser as a weapon, and he carries most of what one would have in a medkit in two of his pouches, not as much as he would like, he makes sure to aways have one filled with monster healing candy, and another pouch he carries a small notebook.

Guard carries a katana everywere, his boots also carry multiple different types of fighting knives and daggers inside of it (imagine that moment in Amphibia with Sasha leaving her knives behind).

If you are asking yourself, were is the cannon sans personality? It's Pretzel, he sleeps for hours, and jokes in chirps, although the twins still have the cannon health (which was a pain for Guard in terms of being able to enter the royal guard).

If you are also asking, how does Guard have scars? In my AU's if an attack is strong enought to the monster, they dust slightly and chip their bones slightly.

Also, the black fabric that he's wearing is a strong one, not strong to protect as much as things like chain armor, but is stronger than fabric.

And if you are wandering which Sans Pretzel is (Because animals (or at least cats) in Fluffytale are representations of other AU's characters), it's Littletale, Pretzel is actually a very young bird.
