The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth: Gnome Lair
Scene Flavor:
The Gnome's live in a reclusive vale amongst the mountaints with tunnels winding into the rock. The burrow of Laird Gwaylar is a winding maze of tunnels cleanly hewn into the stone.
A soft blue light glows from the ore removing the need for torches. Plumbing pipes run into rooms from every which direction and the sounds of a banquet can be heard.
The Gnomes can aid adventurers seeking the Caverns of Tsojcnath, but they are prepared for attack.

Caverns of Thracia: Entrance [30x40]
Scene Flavor:
All that remains of a once-grand city are a series of ruins, now mostly hidden by thick jungle foliage. A swamp filled with standing reeds and colorful aquatic plant life close the ruins’ western edge. The occasional gurgle and bubble of something, moves beneath the water’s surface.
What was once a building of great significance, perhaps even a temple to a now-forgotten god, has long-since fallen into ruin. Heaps of broken stonework dot the area and trees emerge from mounds of rubble.
Stairs atop the crumbled temple descend into the dungeon below..

The Temple of Elemental Evil: Dungeon Level 3 part 2 [76x73]
Scene Flavor:
The plastered walls of this triangular room are covered with paintings of eyes. The eyes are of all sorts — human and monstrous, blind-looking, multi-faceted, and of various colors— and all seem to stare in hatred, hunger, or fright. The chamber has piles of rubbish scattered about, gnawed bones, and signs of a large fire frequently burned in the middle of the floor. In the center of the room is a large brass gong, suspended from a hornwood frame. Two smoky cressets burn on the east and west walls, about midway between each pair of doors.

Against the Giants: Hill Giant Dungeon (75x95)
Scene Flavor:
Old and well crafted masonry ceilings are arched and buttressed every 10'. Flickering torchlight staves off the dark and the scents of varying monster species overwhelm the nostrils. In the large rooms and chambers the ceilings are 30' high and the floors are dark stone. The overhead in the natural cavern area is of varying height and stalagmites rise like teeth from the floor.

The Sunless Citadel: Grove
Scene Flavor
Luminescent fungus, shedding violet light, clings to the walls and ceiling of this wide cavern. The air is damp, chilly, and filled with odors of loam and decay. A layer of earth, mixed with rotting vegetation and the remains of cave animals, covers the floor. Mushrooms and fungi grow on the detritus.
A walled clearing is here among the briars. A few suspicious-looking saplings grow among the ruins. Beneath the fungal light grows an evil tree. Its blackened, twisted limbs reach upward, like a skeletal hand clawing its way out of the earth.

The Temple of Elemental Evil: Fire Elemental Node [69x90][ART]
Scene Flavor:
The dreaded Fire Pits are humid and hot. The areas are lit by the occasional pits of burning embers and leaping flames.
Adventurers appear in the central room, faced with a choice of eight stone doors. The doors in the Fire Node are large stone constructions with brass fittings and are edged by ample cracks which allow fire creatures to seep through.
The rooms and corridors, hewn from the surrounding rock, are well-made, perhaps by earth elementals or magic. Many surfaces are scorched and scratched, but few are chipped.
