In a video on the abduction of Choi Eun-hee and Shin Sang-ok to North Korea, I stumbled across these very, very rare stills from their 1985 north korean production of The Tale of Shim Chong (심청전) - and that even from the otherworldly sequence that was shot in the Bavaria Studios in Munich, Germany.

The first one shows the heroine, Shim Chong, sinking down do the underwater world, then stumbling upon the dancers who bring her to the God of the Sea, who then reunite her with her late mother, played by Choi Eun-hee.

I unfortunately don’t know the name of the actress who plays Shim Chong.

UPDATE: the actress is indeed Jang Sun-hee, who also played the lead in two other movies by them, Love, Love, my Love (1984) and Pulgasari (1985).

Reiter and me are just working at our new film project with Dean and Hendrix (Juniors) playing the main roles, and Laurel & Hardy in some side roles as FBI detectives who are some tough boys, but occasionally even they have some heart! Their director told them to follow and find Albert & Dean, some manifold bank robbers who even once robbed a post train, too, and once also tried to steal the gold from Fort Knox, like it is said, but in vain, those very famous bandits with their notorious other gang members (or musicans and band) and then to bring them back into the USA both, the rest of their band, too, where they all will have to appear in front of a court, awaiting “lifelong”, according to a judge! At least for Albert and Dean!! But until now they still could escape from their prosecutors. But this might change with Laurel and Hardy who allegedly belong to the best detectives of the FBI! Maybe they even are the very best! And so the question will be: who makes the race now? Laurel & Hardy by the FBI? Or the other side! The two detectives never lost a case, too! In some minor roles: Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande as new girl friends by Albert and Dean! After a concert they stayed with the band and now travel with them! You also will meet even Brandon Junior and once again, Louis de Funes, from the French police, in this film, as some other guest stars! The money for the film this time came from some governments from South America and their Tourism bureaus!! The Chinese helped out with a little money, too! (In Peking they hope for some very similar positive effects this might have even on them. They hoped for more tourists, too! Only this way we were were able to hire all those famous former film stars on it like Laurel & Hardy and the Portland-Monroe in the end, that took part in this project, or still will do, according to my and Rosenfels’ own plans! (A few German older actors and actresses surely will join the film later still, too! Rosenfels and me like it to work with them, too! While sometimes we additionally even hire some actors from Italy!)
