It was a good day. It had been a good day from the very beginning, with the great start of a lush breakfast in Sebastian’s rooms. Of course he invited Cooper as well and had a table brought up to his room just for the dining experience. Room service was more than happy to lay out a selection of the best treats from hearty to sweet that the kitchen had to offer for morning meals.
Sebastian himself had eaten light: crepes stuffed with strawberries and blueberries and the finest of cream, lightly powdered with sugar. It had been delectable. After one of those he ate a croissant and was absolutely stuffed. He dined then on coffee while the brothers finished their breakfasts, and gave small talk and smiles all around, eyeing Blaine across the table and winking once or twice. He had the strangest sensation of wanting to connect their feet beneath the table but he refrained. That would definitely be a misstep in the delicate dance they had been doing since the trip began.
They had gone to a few boutique shops that Sebastian knew from around, and he’d bought himself a light v-neck shirt and a classy button-up. It was plain grey but it was slim-fit and accentuated his waist and hips perfectly. He’d ended up wearing it to the Broadway matinee that they had elected to go to. Some quaint show called, ‘She Loves Me.’ It maybe wasn’t Sebastian’s first choice, but he thought Blaine might like it for the romance.
It had been all about these two office rivals who were secretly anonymous pen pals whom they were quickly falling for. Of course there was the big reveal and the happy ending. It remind Sebastian much of ‘You’ve Got Mail,’ but he wasn’t going to say anything about that. It would give away the fact that he’d even seen that movie, and the fact that he knew enough about each to compare them.
But now? Now it was evening and they had come from a wonderful dinner. It was time to wind down and Sebastian found himself once again not wanting to depart Blaine’s company. He cleared his throat and lifted his brow.
“So I got a little something delivered to my room earlier...and I haven’t tried out the tub in my room yet. It’s huge. fits four people, and has jets. You interested in joining me, Killer?” asked Sebastian, a particular sparkle to his eye.
He tried to play it casual. If Blaine said yes, it would be fun to spend more time with him alone. But if he said no...it would put a damper on Sebastian’s evening and he would have to drink that Proseco alone, while drowning in his bubbles and playing some sappy Michael Buble. Just for the alliterative effect. It wouldn’t be near as much fun.
