The families of my mom, Leah Land Teel, are most appreciative of your prayers and thoughts with her passing. She was happiest with her family and was so proud that we all love the Lord Jesus Christ as she did. To Him be the praise! Her sons, Willis Teel and myself, and her 6 grandsons, Jonathan Teel, Adam Noles, Drew Teel, Reed Teel, Andrew Noles, and Brent Teel conducted her funeral. Educating for the Future. Former president Calvin and Linda Henry spent 2 weeks on campus giving seminars to our undergraduates. Calvin also participated in our fifth-year program for graduates and church leaders. His theme was: “How to Plant Churches.” They represent an important group of Baxter friends who continue to help and bless the efforts at Baxter. #baxterpresident #baxtercalvin-lindahenry

“Help me to not fail you, Father.” The simple prayer of brand new Christian are a challenge for all. I met Orlando at the front guard post when we first arrived at Baxter almost 6 years ago. A month ago we attended the Ulloa Church and to our surprise he was there with his wife. So he asked an hour off from his guard post and walked over to the school’s baptistery. His wife will soon be baptized, but unbeknownst to us she did not transportation to get to Baxter. Winning souls on campus brings a special joy to all of us. #baxterbaptism #baxterpresident

Five Years and Counting. January 17, 2013 we landed in Tegucigalpa, the next day I walked down this campus lane for the first time as Baxter’s president. Many joys, numerous challenges, a few tears, lots of prayers, ... and God has blessed beyond measure.
