Normally Saturdays are quiet, but we have one US church brigade on campus and are preparing for another with 81 individuals ... and then Timoteo arrived with three from the Diamante Church who wanted to be baptized. The two mothers had children who were in the clinic’s nutrition program last year. Bibles and Baptisms. Back in Mexico over the holidays Jhonatan González handed out Bibles from Baxter to two who had recently been baptized. Then just this Sunday he notes: “It was an enormous blessing Sunday. “To evangelize I had baptize and not let the river sweep away the individual.” This fourth campaign was held in three locations: Cantarranas, Villa de San Fransico and Valle de Angeles. Baxter graduates Wiliam Cardona (2016) and Ricardo Guerra (2003) and their wives work as a team in these 3 cities an hour outside of Tegucigalpa. “Help me to not fail you, Father.” The simple prayer of brand new Christian are a challenge for all. I met Orlando at the front guard post when we first arrived at Baxter almost 6 years ago. A month ago we attended the Ulloa Church and to our surprise he was there with his wife. So he asked an hour off from his guard post and walked over to the school’s baptistery. His wife will soon be baptized, but unbeknownst to us she did not transportation to get to Baxter. Winning souls on campus brings a special joy to all of us. #baxterbaptism #baxterpresident
