New Blog Name

Hello, some of you might recognise the name Bayoread from the community around 8 months ago. Sadly that blog has since been deleted and it saddens me that all the informative posts on it are now lost.

I made a lot of friends in the Hellenic Tumblr community, and hope everyone has been well. Please feel free to follow this new account if you wish now that I’m back.

I did end up blending a bit more after this photo, but I went for dry because I wanted the fuller coverage dry gives today.

4. tell us about your ideal battle outfit.

Oh that question is good, thank you for asking. And it’s hard because it depends on what kind of battle we’re talking about. But I’ll go from experience and say that 15th century pourpoints are actually really nice and comfy (google pourpoint Charles de Blois for reference). It’s light yet padded enough for protection and is meant to be worn underneath an armor so that’s that. Also, the shape is stylish and marks the waist. 

It can handle swordfight if you got gloves, it can handle wrestling because it’s suple enough to move freely. I guess you could make it bulletproof if needed. Yeah, I like the versatility of that.

My Mum has a mini magnolia in a tub. It flowers well every year.

That’s awesome! I’ve found a couple of types of magnolias that are smaller, but I want a magnolia grandiflora -- one of our giant ones with the face-sized flowers  :D  I know those take years to grow to anything like full-size, so I’m thinking maybe one will stay travel-sized for the next year or so until we’re settled with a yard I can put it in. Research commencing!

I don't mean to be super personal on main, and you of course don't have to answer this if you don't want to. But how did you come away from HP and back to Catholicism? Does the loss of you relationship with Apollon bother you in any way? ilu

I love you! I don’t mind getting personal about my conversion on here, and I’ve actually talked about it at length in this post! I know I said I’d get to questions tonight but since I had the link to the post and am on my laptop, it was just better to answer this right now.

I didn’t talk about everything that lead me back to Catholicism, some of the things I experienced that lead me back is just personal to me and not relevant to anyone else and probably wouldn’t make a lot of sense. But it was definitely a series of events and experiences over the course of a couple months that lead me back.

As for the loss of my relationship with Apollo, I don’t know if the word ‘bothered’ is right for it. I’m not bothered by it in the sense that I want to go back to him. It was a relationship I mourned for sure, it was quite upsetting, but it was necessary to end it for multiple reasons.
