Also, “partner” is just a good word? It implies an equal relationship where both of your work together in pursuit of something, whether that be life goals or just having fun together.
It’s a good word. People should use it more.
My partner is a 38 year old man. He's not a boy, so boyfriend sounds weird.

Once in a while I see posts venting about how worshippers don't post about less known deities and how it's always about the same Popular (and marketable) Theoi etc.
And yeah, I get it. But also, posts about these less popular gods just don't get the notes. They don't get shared around like the other ones do. In the game of social media and content creation, they don't fit the "relevance" bill.
A lot of people on this platform write posts less as a journal/blog and more for the interaction, whether that's through likes, reblogs or comments. Because that's just how we've been pushed to interact with social media in the past few years.
And within that mindset, it doesn't come as a surprise that users, when given the choice between writing a 246473th post about Apollo or Aphrodite (no shade, we know they're at the top of the popularity chain) that will generate interaction and a post about Silenus or Cybele or Tyche that might get 10 likes and 2 reblogs from mutuals, choose the most rewarding option.
Unpopular Tumblr opinion but 9 out of 10 UPG posts about deity interaction are bullshit. The gods don't pat you on the back, or BFF you on the regular.
It's OK to not have a clear opinion on something while you take time to think about different sides of the story. So give yourself permission to sit on the fence for as long as you need to. Build up that ability to tolerate not knowing.

I mean, I can't speak for javelin throwers, but my bow is 22lbs of draw weight and that takes some training to get used to. Scythian bows have an estimated draw weight of a 100lbs!! Just think of the shoulder muscles needed to pull that back.
