i mean i don’t do the after after parties at the clubs but like there is always this street festival after the march and i just like to hang there because the atmosphere is so nice and there are gay couples kissing and trans people of all shapes and forms and everyone seems comfortable and it’s just so nice. it’s like this bubble of happy lgbt people and we feel safe for once and just have fun together. it’s the happiest i ever felt in a big group of people.

@cassiovale @bazooka-ben thank you both so much!!! it's really hard to constantly feel so isolated and alienated in those contexts and i genuinely don't know how i survived that treatment back in high school. i would be so lost without the (online) lgbt community i have, like you two, who understand and whom i can connect to. otherwise i would feel so incredibly lonely.
