💍🍵🧠✨🎁⚡ for coyote please!
💍 Coyote has quite a few sentimental items that she keeps on her person or incorporates into her outfit. Although she isn’t an outwardly emotional type, she does have some emotions. Her items are: a feather from Follows-Chalk’s hat, made into an earring, a deathclaw tooth necklace that is wrapped around the handle of her knife, that came from when she clearing out quarry junction with boone (boone has a matching one so its basically a friendship bracelet). A luck star cap on a necklace, a tattoo that her mother gave her the day before she left and a postcard of Santa Monica pier that she picked up when she was young, and has instilled in her a desire to see the ocean.
🍵 even though her being courier six gives her some notoriety, Coyote was reasonably known in the criminal underbelly of New Reno and later on the postal circuit when she went legit. There are rumours of her being a psychotic drug addicted cannibal, a murderer-on-the-run, a prostitute who killed her pimp, the last member of an long dead tribe. Some of those are true.
🧠 Coyote’s mental health is both extremely solid and non existent. She’s kind of nuts, but in a way that works for a post apocalyptic hellhole where kindness and normalcy is secondary to survival. She’s impulsive, rude, selfish, almost completely self-centered, and her sense of humour usually involves strategically placed land mines. The upside to this is that she’s an incredibly useful person to have in your pocket - provided you can motivate her enough. Her time in the Sierra Madre changes her, her claustrophobia worsens a little and she becomes more violent towards anyone who tries to order her around or might be a threat to her.
✨ Coyote would definitely be some sort of trickster-god or a god of good luck in personal endeavours. Her offerings would be money, ammunition and sharp objects, her followers would be the dregs of society, thieves, prostitutes, smugglers who are hoping to strike it rich. Her ‘shrines’ wouldn’t be allowed in normal places of worship, so they’d be hand-made from scrap in areas away from the eye of the law. Coyote is the embodiment of survival, shirking authority, and making your own path on your own two feet. Her teachings would encompass things like self-sufficiency, superstitions, thieving and scams. Despite this there would be a sort of honour code amongst the followers, no outright murder, paying back favours that are given to you, and not backstabbing someone who isn’t trying to screw you first.
🎁 Coyote is an incredibly practical person. Anything that she can eat, drink, smoke or use will get you in her good books. Anything useless yet expensive she will appreciate, only because she’ll sell it later. Books or hand made sentimental objects don’t hold her interest much, unless she really, really likes you. Coyote assumes everyone likes gifts like she does, so her gifts are also often ammunition, food, or in a few cases, killing someone who you didn’t like much. For those she is particularly close to she’ll give the greatest gift she can muster - loyalty. She won’t fuck over people who she considers friends and may even help them with things. This means a lot coming from someone who lies, cheats, robs and steals things out of habit more than necessity.
⚡ Coyote is claustrophobic, and hates tunnels, caves, vaults and basically anything cramped and underground. She won’t have a panic attack but she will be on edge the entire time, getting more twitchy the longer she’s inside, wasting more ammo, maybe taking some chems to get the edge off. Her normally short fuse is now millimetres long and somebody who is getting in between the way of her leaving is most likely going to be shot and killed
another fear of hers is having her personal freedom restricted. She hates any sort of attempt to control her but her time in the Sierra Madre exacerbated this and she does get flashbacks or even panic attacks whenever she has something tight around her neck or put over her head (like a bag or a blindfold). she also hated radios for a while afterwards. A panic attack for coyote isn’t a shut-down, rather she’ll just get increasingly agitated until she’ll basically go feral, biting and scratching at whatever’s restraining her until she’s calmed down, knocked out or its removed.
Lastly while this isn’t a phobia per se, coyote hates robots. The only robots she likes is ED-E, the rest of them she doesn’t trust. The more human a robot pretends to be the more she distrusts them. After her time in the Madre, and later the Big MT, she also developed a hatred for basically anything with a ‘screen’. It’s one of the reason she kills mr house and the MT scientists. She has a caveman brain.

3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)
Remington mostly reads, whatever pre-war novel she picked up, or she thinks about what’s going on
6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?
Remington is pretty goodie-two-shoes. But she doesn’t always agree with NCR laws though. She’s more of a chaotic good person.
My most flexible oc is Nat. Laws aren’t a thing, she does whats right no matter what even if she has to kill someone.
7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?
Remington has a photo of her family that was taken before the Legion razed their town. It kinda makes her sad, she misses her family a lot, but overtime, Remington makes her own new found family so its more of a fond memory.
Audrey however, basically everything in the new world reminds her of life before the war. It’s kinda bittersweet.
8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?
Remington had to be told not to bring home injured wild animals. She didn’t like doing school work. Remington is very smart but she was bored with lessons because it wasn’t challenging her enough
Gwen was the kid that read with a flashlight undercovers. Her dad had a hard time getting her to stand up for herself against bullies.
10. What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?
Oh, really Remington doesn’t tell super big lies. It’s always “I’m fine”. Cliche, yes, but that’s her thing she puts on a brave face and powers through.
Lynn’s biggest lie was about the Railroad to Maxson. She doesn’t regret it really. Lynn feels bad that she lied to Maxson, but she doesn’t regret telling it.
11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?
Remington always asks questions until she understands it, but when she can’t wrap her head around things she gets frustrated.
Bartholomew pretends to understand. He doesn’t want to look like an idiot.
22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?
Remington tries to act like nothing is wrong. It of course doesn’t work because she doesn’t know how to act natural.
Cato tends to clam up. He just doesn’t want to talk about it or address his feelings.
24. Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom?
Remington doesn’t like locker-room-talk. She doesn’t kiss and tell. But with its a lover of course she’s comfortable talking about it.
Nat having a vault-education, isn’t well-versed just knows it makes babies.
26. What causes them to feel dread?
Oh seeing smoke on the horizon, hearing the legion war drums in the distance. Remington doesn’t like seeing signs of the legion.
If you receive this you make somebody happy. Go and send this to ten of your followers who make you happy or somebody you think needs cheering up. If you get back even better. 💕
Aw, this is so sweet, thank you!
3, 4, 5, 7, 20, 21, 26, 28, 29, 37, 47, and 48 please! sorry it's a lot i love hearing about cinder
3. melee, guns, energy weapons, or unarmed?
unarmed for sure. they cant aim as well so now they get up close to fight (only when necessary, of course)
4. highest skills? secondary skills? lowest skills?
cinder has speech 100 but they rarely utilize it, they also have high unarmed and science, secondary medicine and repair, but their energy weapons, explosives and guns are pathetically low
5. SPECIAL stats?
S7, P4, E5, C6, I8, A6, L3
7. favorite companions? least favorite companions?
they dont really like most companions? but if they had to travel with some theyd definitely pick the chatterboxes i.e. veronica, raul
20. do they have a theme song?
i wanna say dangerous by big data… but idk actually
21. what do they look like? how tall are they? are they attractive? any piercings, tattoos, scars?
cinder does not find themselves attractive! they have a dark complexion due to their mexican heritage and being out in the sun all the time. also their hair was a dark brown but after benny shot them it caused them to prematurely gray? and they color it blue. OH and their hair is like…. not quite pixie cut length, a little shorter
26. what's their d&d alignment?
something in the neutral line. probably neutral good?
28. how do they feel about killing people? do they try to avoid it?
cinder will kill in self defense, and in some cases revenge (they shot benny the second they saw him in the tops) but they will generally avoid doing so.
29. do they take chems? if yes, when and which ones?
they take buffout occasionally during a long delivery trip, but not much else. thats not to say they wouldnt, they just dont actively seek out chems.
37. do they draw, paint, play any instruments?
cinder has a really nice singing voice, not that youd ever hear it. they dont draw (not well anyway) or paint. but they are good at playing guitar!
47. what are their vices? are they an alcoholic, a thief, a murderer?
cinder is an alcoholic but picky about it. they are also very vengeful
48. can they cook, and if so, what do they cook? what are their favorite & least favorite foods?
cinder cannot cook! they also like soups and stuff, they pick plants and eat them on their journeys.
as always betty i am indebted to you thank you for letting me talk abt my ocs :)
✨🔫🌟⭐ for everyone!!!!
Oh Betty thats a lot here we go some of it will be in a read more since this will be long
Remington
Special: S6 P6 E7 C8 I8 A5 L7
Favorite Weapon: Cowboy Repeater
Main quest that effected them the most: Oh for sure the Eureka quest, the final battle for the Hoover Dam. After everything that’s happened to her and the Mojave Remington is so happy to finally beat the Legion.
Side quest that effected them the most: Boone’s side quest in Bittersprings. Remington cares about Boone a ton, and she doesn’t like seeing him hold on to all of that guilt and encourages him to heal
Bartholomew
Special: S7 P5 E7 C6 I6 A4 L6
Favorite Weapon: Revolver
Main Quest that effected them the most: Oh for sure, Ring-a-Ding. Bartholomew spent weeks hunting down Benny, being angry, and then when he finally kills Benny he’s just empty.
Side Quest that effected them the most: Ummmm everything in the sierra madre lol. He learns that he’s been afraid of settling down and being happy and he needs to move on from his past.
Cato
Special: S8 P6 E6 C6 I5 A5 L5
Favorite weapon: Brass Knuckles
Main Quest that effected them the most: Well, really Cato isn’t a main player in my story tbh. He just chills with the followers and helps. What effects him the most though is when he is reunited with his wife from the Legion
Side Quest that effected them the most: Basically, anything that involves helping the followers
Gwen
Special: S5 P6 E6 C7 I9 A6 L8
Favorite Weapon: Combat Rifle
Main Quest that effected them the most: The Waters of Life. It’s rough on Gwen, watching her dad die
Side Quest that effected them the most: Really this is Blind Betrayal, because Danse is really the only person she considers her family, and while looking for him, she find the Railroad in the commonwealth and starts helping them.
Lynn
Special: S6 P6 E7 C8 I8 A8 L7
Favorite Weapon: Handmade Rifle
Main Quest that effected them the most: Well, it didn’t happen like in the events of fallout 4 but taking back the Castle is a really proud moment for Lynn. She feels like everything she’s doing with the minutemen is paying off and she’s making a difference.
Side Quest that effected them the most: Blind Betrayal. Lynn gets Danse to join the minutemen and her romantic relationship with Maxson ends. Lynn liked Maxson a lot more than she let on so it is difficult for her, but she knows she did the right thing protecting Danse.
Audrey
Special: S3 P6 E5 C7 I8 A6 L9
Favorite Weapon: 10mm pistol
Main Quest that effected them the most: Reunions. Audrey facing Kellogg drags up a lot of stuff she’s been trying to ignore; and then of course, the Divergence I take, the fact as much as Audrey hates Kellogg she can’t kill him
Side Quest that effected them the most: I’ve answered this before, but Winter’s End. Audrey works her butt off helping Nick get the holotapes, and it’s very emotional for the both of them.
