UCBC - Students Union
I am going to know more next week on wether I am the LGBT+ Champion at Uni. They are having interviews and meetings throughout this week coming up so I am hoping I have the job which will be great for my project if not I have place and ideas anyway to help the SU in the future.
Project Timeline 31/10/16
1st of November: I will have my third version of my design brief started. I have a meeting with SU President Emile Cave from Blackburn college about the LGBT+ Champion role on Wednesday at 1pm. Also will carry out more information and will organise meetings with other LGBT+ groups and Community Centre’s.
8th of November: My Third version will be completed and printed out and to put in my folder. Organise my folder and get up to scratch what I will have to finish and to print out. Again need to organise meetings and join other LGBT+ groups within the area and the county of Lancashire.
15th of November: I will be updating my design brief constantly and project timeline every week. I need to go into community centres and business around the Blackburn With Darwen area to see what they have in place for people to have an understanding of what the LGBT+ community is about and the ‘gender terms’ means.
22nd of November: To constantly update my timeline and will be going back to my design process model and be adding to that. Also will research into other subject matters surrending the problem and linking them to come up with a brief and subject matter for my chosen key area of research.
29th of November: Getting closer to December and the Christmas break, my aim is to get close to finish with researching into the LGBT+ community and just look at the information around the problem instead of the issue itself. I will have finished my design process model and brief for the forth version so now move into my final version for the deadline and get up to date with work and folders.
