Tiffany Haddock had expensive taste from the start , and often stole from her mother's boyfriend of the week to purchase the things that she wanted .
when caught she used tears and compliments to avoid trouble . this mostly succeeded , and became easier to accomplish as she aged and better assets than dimples and tears became available to her . the need for pretty things only got worse as she got older and her mother was more than willing to teach her eager daughter the tips she'd learned .
in spite of the wide eyed bambi she played tiffany did well in school achieving high marks that earned her a scholarship to gotham university where she studied finances . the intent was to work in finance to support her own lifestyle , but a supposed affair with the dean ruined her scholastic career leaving her deep in debt after her scholarship was revoked . moving back home with her mother , tiffany managed to catch the eye of a young elite who enjoyed spoiling her especially after obtaining advice on money handling .
unfortunately the relationship ended abruptly when her spending out paced his ability to create funds as he fumbled more often than not the advice she gave him . when the negative balance was discovered he was furious , dragging her into an alley to berate her before beating on her to vent months of frustration . what neither was expecting was for roman to find them in the alley, having been looking for her boyfriend for the money he owed .
