Me today trying to #zenthoughts and trying to get my #woosah while my girls practice talking without a pause for the entire day....ENTIRE DAY. Entire. Left: Feb 24th || Center: Mar 10th || Right: May 1st ➰ I know we shouldn't allow negative comments to affect us or make us feel like we need to defend ourselves on social media, and there will always be naysayers; On the other hand, when you get negative comments that there is no change, like I did on my last progress picture, it makes me feel like, one, either I'm not making as much progress as I think I am or, two, I am failing in my presentation. When you work hard you want to show that the measures you take are actually producing results. I have been using the progress pics I send to my coach @shaneheugly each week, but I do feel the lighting washes out some of the significant changes, so I decided to go back to my closet where the lighting comes from the side instead of the front, which casts shadows across the contours of the body. It won't surprise me if someone still says "no change" but I feel like this really shows how much has changed since February when I started training with my coach. If not? 😩😫😭Now, I've got lots to do today! I'm excited it's Monday and can't wait to get my workout in! Day by day, workout by workout, meal by meal is how it's done! Breakfast Part One: 1L orange juice and 1/4 watermelon with passionfruit (there really is no other way to eat watermelon once you've tried this combo thanks to @lonijane 👅🍉). Ice cream for breakfast? Veganism is so restrictive! 😂 Handful of frozen mango, raspberries, four bananas topped with kiwi berries, blueberries, orange, toasted muesli and coconut with 1/4 cup of coconut water. Carbing up before #BBG week 7 arms and abs - I am a day behind so today I'll play catch up. Currently eating 2000-3000 calories a day of delicious plant based food (smoothies, wraps, sushi, curried, soups, pizza, mountains of rice and pasta -- not just fruit!) and still losing fat. Combined with the #sweatwithkayla app feeling so much FITTER and full of ENERGY.
