Challenge #9 - SKOOL LUV AFFAIR

On February 12th 2014, BTS released their 2nd EP: Skool Luv Affair. With this album, BTS charted on international charts for the 1st time - Oricon Chart and Billboard Chart. Boy In Luv and Just One Day entered the Billboard World Digital Songs at #5 & #25 respectively. The album consists of a variety of themes but circles back between 2 main topics: love and social commentary. Songs such as ‘Where Did You Come From?’ and ‘Just One Day’ talk about love at different stages, from beginning to fall in love, to what the members would do if they could spend one day with their significant other. Whereas songs such as ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘Spine Breaker’ discuss problems within society from facing your obstacles and following your dreams, to breaking your parents’ backs from your love for trends. This month the challenge is centered around the whole album and all its layers!

Challenge #7 - LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her’

This month we’re celebrating the epic release of ‘Her.’ Love yourself is the newest series and ‘is the beginning of Chapter Two.’ This album explores a variety of themes from expressing the economic hardship young people face in ‘고민보다 Go (Go Go)’ to describing the complexities of love in ‘Outro: Her. The challenge for this month is all about exploring the different themes brought out in this album and using them for your creations. This month is all about ‘Her!’
