Summary: During Beyond Birthday’s incarceration, he begins to notice an odd trend emerging among his fellow inmates. His shinigami eyes detect strange patterns in their lifespans, leading Beyond to suspect a serious massacre is on the horizon, solely directed at prisoners and criminals. His speculations do not go unnoticed.

L didn’t know what to say. He couldn’t reason with B. He had no desire to change the trajectory of the future by reconciling the past. This wasn’t good. He couldn’t have B backing out. He needed to remove this thorn in his side before it festered. How could he reaffirm B’s commitment after he’d listed all the ways L failed him?

He quickly thought up a resolution to end this bickering and satisfy Beyond’s need for closure; a quick way to make Beyond stop demanding an apology he was never going to receive, a redirection from the guilt and shame he’d always run from. L eyed B intently for a short moment before he charged forwards, clenching the collar of B’s shirt in his hands and kissing him forcefully.

They must have spent an extremely wonderful childhood before at wammys house, right? L and B. Who knows they would be like that at last? Once they fucked with everyone at every second.
