“Of course, my lady.” Paint-stained fingertips covered his smile. Frustration dissipated the longer he looked, a phenomenon that had failed to fade from their first meeting. That sired song sang to him so sweetly, soothing frayed nerves. “Did you miss me? I’m sorry for disappearing so long. The piece is…” He made a noise, something close to displeasure intertwined with excitement. “If I could find the right color, it would be perfect.
