I hope we get to see the baby kick some ass this season! It's still so hilarious to me that he thought Mando was in trouble during a friendly game of arm wrestling but seldom helped him when he was in actual danger. It's funny but like WHOA! He looked so angry at Cara and was ready to end her.
Me too! I’m ready to watch him take out the trash haha! I agree, it feels like that whole moment perhaps had potential for a bit of foreshadowing? Or I guess it could just have been that his powers were finally kicking in and he was just flexing on her haha! I mean he must have been sat in that bassinet for a while.... (and I have concerns - like, did whoever put him in that thing pack him a lunch? Did he have some snacks in there? Any frogs in there for him to chomp on while he waited to be found? Hello....@[email protected]. I have questions about my son’s welfare! Haha!) ....he didn’t really have any call to use his powers before Mando rocked up - so it could just be a sign that he’s developing in the correct way for his species. We also gotta remember he didn’t try to save himself when he was handed over to the bad guys early on.... His bond with Mando was getting strong by the arm wrestling scene too, and he’d seen Mando go in to bat for him when it hit the fan, like when the droid that found him hiding. He’s still learning and following examples set, so he saw Mando had let people on the ship before that turned out to be bad. He’d also seen him and Cara fighting before too. So, he probably just read things wrong, kid’s learn through trial and error after all, and lots of stuff like that can be confusing when you’re fifty years old young. ;) I dunno, but I feel like it potentially had a deeper meaning for Cara/Mando going forward, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Sure will be interesting to find out! :D I am exicte!!!

Remember last year when The Mandalorian trailers pretended like the baby didn't exist? Now he's in every other shot and the posters.
Yeah, but that makes sense. Charging Mando with the bounty on a fifty year old, that turned out to be a tiny baby Yoda was the big mystery of the pilot episode. They couldn’t reveal BBYo in the trailer or any of the promotional material for the first season, because it would have spoiled the “OMG moment” when Mando found the bassinet. Also the big reveal was a viral sensation and bought a lot of people into the franchise, so it was a clever move. They know he’s a big draw to the show now, and he’s not just a one dimensional cutie to keep people tuning in, he’s got potential to have an interesting storyline with Mando trying to finding his people and his powers strengthening. And I’m not complaining about content for my lil’ green bean son hahaha!
