I think its very important to realize and internalize that the people around you will give you grace and will see you with a lense of kindness. every insecurity you ever have that all accumulate into making yourself feel lesser or undeserving.... they genuinely do not see it that way. if it is seen and noticed it is a mere neutral trait! think of any random person you see day to day. do you pick everything about them apart to see them as less than human? of course you don't. just the way others don't do that for you. you are literally just some person

hi! do you know anything about Kate's mom from the comics? how does she compare to the MCU version?

eleanor bishop was dead before kate first appeared in young avengers (at the wedding of kate's sister, susan, who doesn't exist in the mcu). she was said to have engaged in philanthropic activities. then it was revealed at the end of hawkeye v5 that she was alive the whole time, and then she started showing up in west coast avengers v3 where it's revealed she's.......a half-vampire. yeah. and she says kate's dad derek is the one who killed her.

the mcu version of eleanor seems to be taking on derek bishop's role in the comics. he was also pretty much a regular unmentioned parent for a while, then in hawkeye v4 it was revealed he was up to nefarious activities, and subsequent series made it so that he was up to criminal doings etc. etc. throughout kate's childhood for that sweet sweet cash and works with villains
