It had been nearly a week since the curse had been lifted, and though many were reunited with their loved ones it would seem Adam was alone in this world and the previous. A giant beast capable of destroying lives is what he had been. Ruthless and pure EVIL according to his memory, though who could trust such a fickle thing. Years had been wasted inside a mental asylum, pumped with medication to repress what he now knew to be the memories of his old life.
Blood, fear, and loneliness filled his memories and swallowed him in this world. No one dares to speak to him, all having memories of something horrid he had done or the rumors swirling with such a past. He had been utterly alone and he would be again. It would seem only a few generous souls willed themselves brave enough to speak to him, mostly those with strong heads upon their own shoulders.
Belle was one of them. The library was a safe place, practically abandoned thanks to modern technology, though it was never empty to him. Many different worlds to travel to, one where he could be filled with love and surrounded by exciting people. Belle happened to share the sentiment. Traveling inside one’s mind was the purest form of creativity, she had one said.
But when did she say that?
He had found himself in the library early this morning, unable to sleep the night before. Visions of FANGS and CLAWS shook him to his core and he had little to do to cope.
“Hope you don’t mind opening early for me, I finished all the ones I borrowed and couldn’t reread them.”
