Still snow dreaming after being back in Aus for a week. It’s been crazy busy with getting kids back in school, packing up our house to move this Friday and getting back on top of my business!! A mountain man, yes I am! The snow actually led me to becoming a Celebrant, it took me half way around the world when I was younger! A friendship with a friend in the alps of France, his Dad was a Celebrant and here I am back in Japan paying homage to the Snow Gods!! Nozawa Onsen, you have my heart!! Easily one of my fav resorts on planet earth!! We scored 1.5 metres of snow in 5 days, with some blue bird action yesterday morning!! Tarnie was ripping and riding some really gnarly terrain, hard to stop and capture on phone but she charged. She’s a bit sore today after keeping up so a rest day is in order tomorrow. Over at Madarao for a quick couple of days riding, before the long ride home! So great to connect to the mountains again. A mountain man yes I am. Off We Go!! After a short delay.. So freaking excited to be jetsetting to Japan with Tarnie. We somehow scored a 2 week, kid free, snow mission!! Thank you Grand Folks you rock!! The last month has been pretty hectic for us with the purchase of a new house over the Silly Season. With school holiday action with the boys and a busy workload, this trip is just what the good doctor ordered. Stoked beyond belief and can’t wait to strap my snowboard into my feet.
