Natalia had been practically itching to let the secret spill out of her. It had been practically months in the works. She always told Cami everything. It was hard to keep anything from her. Even when something was bothering her the older woman could clock it far too easily. This was truly a performance in how well of an actor Natalia could be. Though, if it was anyone else it wouldn’t be as much of a hardship like it was with Cami. They were close as can be, Natalia seeing the older woman as not just her big sister, but her best friend as well. Secrets weren’t really a thing with them.

Dumping her various bags and assorted things in her new Brooklyn apartment, Natalia made her way to where Cami lived. She knocked promptly on the door, simply waiting as she stood there for the door to swing open. “Surprise, sissy.” Natalia grinned widely, immediately lunging forward for a tight hug. “I’m staying. I’m here to stay now. I got a job at a firm here, you can’t get rid of me now.” She teased softly with a giggle.

“Jeez, way to keep the faith.” Maya replies, dark brows furrowing. She sighs, weaving her way through bunches of people crowing the manor. Most were in a sudden frenzy, wanting nothing more than to get the hell out of there, Maya being one of those people. Yet, something continues to stop her. Whether that be a familiar face or just genuine, morbid curiosity, who knows. Still, she remains. 

Being accompanied by Greer wasn’t exactly how she wanted to spend her post-Halloween mystery murder either, really, but it seems as though these were the cards she was being dealt. Go figure. It’s not that she disliked Greer, no. Not at all. In fact, she liked her too much which caused for a string of confusing emotions to inhabit her body and soul. And, of course, Maya being Maya, she opted to ignore said feelings. “I think we could be the kind of people who like, save the world if we tried hard enough, you know? Even in whatever cheap slasher movie we’ve just found ourselves in.”
