Back in April, I went to a leadership conference called BCM1 where I was broken before the throne of God. I was broken over the amount of loss souls in the world. God made it clear to me that I needed to reach others. At this time, I did not know what that meant. As I’ve continued to pray about it, and learn, god laid it on my heart to witness about my relationship with him to others and to go. Naturally I was scared and told God that I was not ready. He laid every opportunity to go in my face and it was up to me to take foot in his promise. So in October, I applied for SC BCM Summer Missions. Boy, was it a deep application and a very beautiful thing to see as I was able to tell my story on a web page. I was all nerves as I applied and submitted my application. I heard back and did my second round application and began to wait on God’s promise in my life. Last Thursday night, during dinner time at BCM, I interviewed with the Missions board and on Monday I received a call from @spartanburg_bcm to let me know that I had been chosen. Chosen to complete a missions trip this summer in Puerto Rico. I’ve been chosen to help others and show them the love of God. I could say I was proud but that would be wrong. I’m blessed that God seen fit for little ole me to share the Gospel with others. I will be in Puerto Rico from June 1st-July 19th this upcoming summer to help with hurricane relief. Please say a prayer for me, that during this time, I am able to encourage others and also possibly lead someone to the feet of Jesus. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity. We must love others first! Mark 16:15- And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” #SCBCM #bcmspartanburg #summermissions #puertorico🇵🇷 #blessedbeyondmeasure #summer2019 https://www.instagram.com/p/BrB2f5_HCzI-yrwPebkuRS1IvKWQeNNSI7aiAo0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=3eaevaht9ug2

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work along side of BCM to hang out with some of the world’s sweetest refugee children! These simple drawings show us that life can stop and it’s not always about being serious 24/7/365. #BCMSPARTANBURG #Blessed (at Van-Du-Mar McMillian Park)
