hello! its me! your TLC SECRET SANTA!!! okay so this is that oneshot i tried to write from the day 2 prompt (christmas pranks) but it didn’t go to well bc once i took a break from writing it i got writer’s block. “Thank you so much for inviting all of us to celebrate the holidays with you,” exclaimed Winter.
The others shook their head in agreement, full of smiles from being reunited with their friends. They were gathered around a dining table, most of them having arrived within the last hours, and everyone was getting hungry.
“Oh, no problem! You all are always welcome here and we’re so happy we could host all of you this year. We have planned so hard for this moment to make it the most enjoyable trick, oh sorry trip, possible,” Kai replied, earning a glare from Cinder. Cinder was spending the holiday month on Earth with Kai, so she had helped him to prepare for the rest of the crew’s visits since they all always spent the holidays together. They had finished prepping the palace for their visitors early, and the kingdom was very quiet this holiday season, and they were a little bored, so they decided to spice up the palace a little more for their visitors. To keep their guests extra entertained throughout their visit, they added small pranks all around the palace, with the help of Torin, of course. And Kai had almost ruined the surprise.
The spread on the table was a typical holiday assortment of foods from around the Earth, mixed fruit, gingerbread, mixed nuts, rice coconut bread from the eastern outstretch of the Commonwealth, chocolate cake from the southern European Federation, a cocoa chestnut soup from an EU island, and finally, the classic roasted ham and chicken. As everyone was checking out the exquisite display, a loud fart noise was heard. Wolf, the only person sitting and the apparent source of the fart, looked guiltily around, “I swear it wasn’t me! No, I know that it sounded like it was, but I swear didn’t make that! Scar, don’t look at me like that!”
“Um… I’m pretty sure you’re capable of making that noise…, sorry honey,” Scarlet confessed.
Another loud fart sound erupted from Jacin, the next person to sit down. At this point, Cinder and Kai could not keep it together, and were busy trying to support each other because they were both close to rolling on the floor. And only two people had fallen. Jacin’s response had only been a small glare directed at Cinder and Kai, and then to proceed to take food and begin eating.
“Jacin, that’s rude. Wait for everyone to sit before eating, seriously?” Winter took the seat next to him, and again that loud rip echoed around the room. Winter rolled her eyes, but also began hysterically giggling, which caused Jacin to laugh also.
At this point, Scarlet was standing above a cackling Wolf with crossed arms, tapping her foot, and looking around suspiciously at everyone gathered there. Kinney stood similarly, next to Iko, who had sat down on her seat with a lot of force. Cress and Thorne were huddled in a corner discussing something quietly, and looking extremely guilty but not like Cinder and Kai, whose faces were buried in their hands to muffle their laughter.
“Good work team Cinder-Kai,” Kai said. “We might actually be able to stick to plan A.”
“Team Cinder-Kai? I was thinking more on the lines of like world rulers squad, or, I don’t know, world-savers duo?” interrupted Cinder.
“No, I think it has to involve our names. What about…hmmmm.. Cinder and Kai.. Cindai… Kaider?”
“Oh definitely, I like that one hignesses. It suits your strength. Because you two together…” Torin winked. “Oh I’m sorry! Hello all! How has everyone been? I hope nobody minds if I join you?”
“Of course not, it’s such a pleasure to see you again, Royal Advisor Konn,” Winter exclaimed.
Everyone nodded, and Torin winked at Cinder and Kai again. Kai tried to wink back, and failed, and Cinder, amused by this, tried and also did not succeed. They burst out into hysterics once again, just as a thunderous belch cut through the air, and Torin took his seat at the table. Two other loud honks echoed back as Kinney and Scarlet took their seats, following the old man’s example.
But, the loud noises were buried under the rumble of hearty, body-shaking laughter erupting out of every member of the former crew.
“THREE, TWO, ONE!”
“PFFFFFFTTTTT!!!”
At last, Cress and Thorne came sprinting from their corner at the table and let out two consecutive blasts from their landings.

hello :)) I'm looking for a fic I read a while ago, where it was post-mj and Peeta's prosthetic was acting up somehow. he had to get some kind of surgery on it, and he was really nervous before hand bc doctors/syringes made him nervous, and Katniss was helping him calm down. I feel like the doctors came to 12 and operated just outside their house in a mobile thing (???) anyways, thanks in advance!
