"Is that so?" Rachael makes it very obvious in her tone that she doesn't believe him. Even if he gets protective, or dare she say territorial, she doesn't mind it that much. She can't say the same for anyone else he shoo's away from getting too close. It's rather amusing to see just how far he'll let some go before taking a step in.
"Do yew think it's more along th' lines of petty spite against yer oh so gracious generosity upon these waters? Or is there a price on my head now that I'm unaware of?" She works to spin this back on him, as they usually banter back and forth. If someone could possibly want her dead, as he forewarns, then these are appropriate questions to speculate.
"Tell me then, my Captain-" She leans forward, leaning on her forearms to be a little closer and spoken more hushed. "-how many zeros do yew think it holds? One? Four?"
