Professional Futures

This is a 10-minute presentation that explores your approach to professional practice, as well as looking towards L6 and beyond. This is an opportunity to present yourself, highlight your skills and experiences, and to apply the Professional Futures lectures to your own journey. This presentation should go beyond a simple PowerPoint; it should be a well-considered, rehearsed, polished, and professional presentation. This will take the form of an individual presentation in front of staff and peers.

Week 2

Emma Turland's presentation came after the live briefing had begun. Choosing a brief was the topic of the talk. It demonstrated what our brief is and how we can stand by it, which I found to be extremely valuable.

Type and motion presentation by Martin Donnelly in the campus.

During the presentation, Martin showed us how to play around with type and create some outstanding work. As you can see below last work, I created it by following Martin's presentation.

Luke Tonge. He is the director of the Birmingham Design Festival. One day he came over to our campus and through the presentation. It was really helpful and gave us some tips about editorial design. His magazines inspired me. They were absolutely stunning.
