do you have any tips on leveling up really quickly?
The only way to level up quickly in Bravely Default is by using the auto-battle system so that you can do other things while grinding because you're never really gonna level up that fast. There is the growth egg which will double EXP and JP in exchange for PG, but it is very expensive and you need a level 10 accessory shop from your Norende. The below methods got me from level 64 to 99 and Level 14 on all jobs in about 5 hours.
Now, to get a grip on the auto-battle system you have to make sure you keep in mind how much MP is available to you, how much damage your characters will do on average, and WHO WILL ATTACK FIRST. You have to make sure that the agility stats of all your characters are where they need for the right order.
My best way of leveling up against normal monsters ((before having a level 11 Dark Knight)) was to just use the Crescent Moon ability from the Valkyrie along with whatever job you wanted that had Natural Talent. Natural Talent is the Level 14 passive skill you get from the Monk class, which means that if you have nothing equipped you increase physical damage by 100%. This along with Knuckle Lore will make you very powerful, but also easily killed. I would make sure that 3 of your characters have this set up so that you can use Crescent Moon a total of 6 times which should definitely wipe out the enemy. Make your fourth character (I recommend Agnes since she has the most mind) a White Mage so that she can just use Cure every turn. Every so often you will have to visit an Inn to refill Agnes' MP but this way you can go for a good 20 minutes by just running around in circles pressing A.
Now the other strategy requires the Dark Knight's level 11 ability Dark Nebula. This takes 20% of his health and deals QUADRUPLE DAMAGE to both enemies and allies. Easiest way to do this is make everyone on your team equip a Dark Shield so that they nullify dark damage, and set up your Dark Knights moves to do Treat > Dark Nebula > Treat > Dark Nebula (Treat is the level 2 freelancer skill that heals 20% of your HP and I'd be surprised if you didn't already have that on every character. If your Dark Knight has the Natural Talent and Knuckle Lore as mentioned before than he should be dealing between 7000-9999 damage depending on your level. If you can't get Dark Shields for some reason then make sure you have a level 13 spiritmaster who has at least 12 more agility than your dark knight. Make them use Enigma, which will nullify elemental damage for you and your allies for 4 turns.
Another way that required me to pay more attention but worked rather well was having a spiritmaster to atleast level 9 which gave them the Holy One ability and a white mage. I would then fight Undead Monsters, and use Cure 4 times in a row, first on my party in case the monsters attacked first, and then 3 times on them. Only Undead monsters are found in the area from the SwordBearer ShieldBearer story arc after chapter 5. This one made me go to the Inn a lot but it was still powerful because of the 2.4x recovery from Holy One.
Hope this helps!
