hey y'all i remember seeing a while back about a noir comic being adapted into a movie (it May have been french, but i could totally be misremembering that), and the one-to-one comparison between comic page and movie frame being staggering in its resemblance. the filmmaker had done a terribly good job keeping the sober and stark style of the comic (black and white) but still adding movement. i never got around to watching the movie and now cannot for the life of me find the title...if any soul out there knows...
