Ignoring the fact that for part of this, they showed the wrong player, I'm sending lots of love and respect to Brian Dawkins for using his Football Hall of Fame induction speech to bring awareness to mental health issues, specifically depression, and urging people to seek help and keep going. He's highlighting, once again, that depression doesn't discriminate and just because you seem to have it all, those dark thoughts can drag you down, but there is help. Maybe if more people that seem to be on top of the world speak out, we can save more lives. So proud to say he played most of his career here in Philly and is using his voice to encourage people to get the help they need.
