Be Coffee
So last yr this time, I was roaming in Korea, visiting coffeeshops & travelinggggg.. . :') This yr, I'm staycation-ing.. .
However, many new cafes have opened in the last yr in Edm & I haven't had the chance to go. Now is the time! Not only bcos I'm on staycation but the weather is finally "nice" enough for me, aka autumn haha it's my fav temperature range most of the time now, which is 5-15degrees C :P perfect patio weather!
Here is BE Coffee, located conveniently next to Centary Park Transit Station.
I shouldn't say next to; it's really about a 3min walk, or 2 if you speed-walk. But it's located in a small apartment complex on the main floor. It's cute, huh?
Although their name is "be", not "bee", they're going after the "bee" concept.
My 1st impression of this place was that it was very neat & cozy. They've decorated with autumn themes, which I found very fitting for their concept.
The wood & orange vibes with the dark forest green just looked very coherent.
In addition to their own merch, they have local items from other places (including syrups, sweater top, & caramels).
PS: I went home with this tote bag. So cute! I asked about other colours.. they said they don't have plans to launch other colours anytime soon. (I was hoping they would have a navy OR the dark forest green version of this with the same yellow logo)
Their idea behind "be" = they want to become part of your day from the Beginning to the End.
I was very attracted to this display of theirs. It just. .. works.
I should have taken a photo of their menu board but I didn't.......??? I thought I did!! Ooops.
The "Canadiano" lol!! I had to ask the staff what it was bcos I've never heard of it nor seen it anywhere. I thought it was maybe their Americano but with a Canadian twist like added maple syrup or something? Unfortunately, no. The staff said, "it's an Ameriano but we're in Canada so we just named it the Canadiano." For some reason, I was a little disappointed haha but it made sense. Their menu had all the regular drinks except for the Americano. I should have clued in. . maybe.
Patio season has just begun :D
