Just over a year ago I met one of the weirdest people ever; but in a good way. Unfortunately, as per my normal luck with friends, he lives on the other side of the country. Right now I should be sitting in a conference center learning new stuff and trying to keep myself calm while waiting to be back on the bay, instead I’m still stuck in Iowa bcuz I fucked up >_<

I’m not sure how I got so lucky to have such an awesome friend, but I’m thankful that I do. Somehow I will find a way to visit this year, maybe not for the concert I want to see but I will make it to that corner of the country; I swear it.

Ok but who’s gonna be my beach buddy? Who’s gonna listen to my required rant about sunscreen & find cool seashells with me & help me dig an unnecessarily large hole in the sand & make sure I don’t drown in the ocean on the off chance I have a seizure?
