Keith swam near the shore, near the rocks, watching quietly. He’d spent most of his life in the open sea and actually by accident ended up near the beach. Merfolk usually didn’t come near the coast, just because as soon as humans would find out about them they’d be captured and kept in water for fairs and stuff.
Yet, curiosity got the better of him and he even pushed himself onto a rock, his dorsal fin disappearing as his tail turned into legs.
