Create fun and colorful beach-themed macarons with four different designs - beach balls, suns, palm trees, and beach umbrellas. These sweet treats are perfect for beach-themed parties and gatherings.
Ingredients: 200g almond flour. 200g powdered sugar. 150g granulated sugar. 150g egg whites aged, at room temperature. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp cream of tartar. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Food coloring blue, yellow, pink, and green. Edible beach-themed decorations seashells, umbrellas, etc..
Instructions: Prepare a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Into a sizable mixing bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together. Beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt together in a different bowl until frothy. While whipping, gradually add the granulated sugar and continue until stiff peaks form. Once the almond flour mixture is well combined, fold in the whipped egg whites. Split the batter into four equal parts. To create blue, yellow, pink, and green colors for your beach-themed designs, add food coloring to each portion. Fill a piping bag fitted with a round tip with each colored batter. Pipe macaron shells into the shapes of a beach ball, sun, palm tree, and beach umbrella onto the baking sheet that has been prepared. After tapping the baking sheet to release any trapped air, give the macarons 30 minutes to rest so a skin can form. Set the oven temperature to 300F 150C. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the macarons are risen and have formed feet. Take them out of the oven and leave them on the baking sheet to cool completely. Once cooled, assemble the macarons by decorating them with edible elements that coordinate with your designs. Present and savor your delightful macarons with a beach theme!
