ok, another hc about mic and his car: mic was perfectly happy to be a podcaster, he loved it- it was a great hobby for him and good for marketing, but that's all it was, a hobby that also happened to help market him to new audiences. when mic got his mustang and began to work on the restoration, it was a matter of having the money to get new parts for it, never mind the bigger issues the car has that needs a proper mechanic's garage to fix. while mic loves to sit down and work on it, he just doesn't have the money to get it up and running.

so what does he do? he gets a second job, in radio. Sure, he has a less time to work on it now, but now he can not only buy the parts, but have someone help work on the car for the bigger issues! mic still comes in to make sure everything is going well, but he wouldn't have been able to get it finished without getting a second job to buy parts and take it into an auto restoration place.

mic still 100% works on it himself for small repairs. oil changes and brakes are pretty easy home jobs when you know what you're doing!

8- is what you like to write the same as what you like to read?

I love reading angst! love it! but i cannot write it for the life of me. it's less that i cant handle writing it and more that i cant finish writing it/get stuck really easily. hurt/comfort and fluff are wayyyy easier for me to write

18- do any of your stories have alternate versions?

yes! I usually have an angsty everything goes wrong before it goes right version in my head and then write the version that's fluffier while still having a good conflict and/or tension for the story. or if im torn about an au and whether i should go with something for aesthetic or for character, ill have two different versions, like for one im working on now, one where someone is a selkie and another where theyre a swan maiden. i usually go with the characterization focused version bc that's what i'd rather stay faithful to, rather then aesthetic/appearance.
