Hope after the Storm ; Tales of our trip to Buyende . On Saturday June 22nd, 2019 Destiny Harvest Ministries with the support of our #BeaconsOfHope Partners delivered help to the People of Nakabembe village and the four neighboring villages in the subcounty of Kidera in Buyende district who were hit by a stormy rain fall, lost their crops, houses and lives. Surely however small the help is , it goes a long way. Nakabembe village alone lost 15 people including a one year old baby. We spoke the word of hope which is the Gospel , prayed with them, especially those hit by house falling debrises as their house collapsed. We ask you to join us in this work by becoming a #beaconofhopepartner and enable many other souls realise their God given destiny. On watching the news of the disaster we posted on all our social media accounts asking friends to offer whatever help they can so we could extend a helping hand. Friends surely responded and we were able to provide clothes to three Local councils . We approximately clothed three hundred people . The experiences we had spoke to us . This parish we visited has no nearby school, hospital and a church that speaks hope and the good news . We feel called into this community to provide these much needed services .
