Hello! Welcome to my blog!

My name is Mika. I’m a Libra, if you’d like to know, and this my blog for Beacons of Hope! I’m still debating on whether it will be a standalone book or a series- it depends on how much material I ultimately end up with.

The book

The year is 2050- the planet has been overrun by an unknown entity and a cult surrounding it for the past three years. Just a few months prior to the Entity’s attack, a few cases of missing persons were reported throughout the planet- not too out of the ordinary, except for one thing. Three years later, these same people re-emerge in odd crystals and are discovered by a group known as the Guardians. Those discovered are called the Crystal Beacons, each one granted a different “elemental” (in quotes because this term may change) power based on the powers these crystals possess. They are taken to a base underground to train- however, plans go awry when a horde of the Entity’s forces raid the base, allowing one Guardian, Aurelius, to escape with the Beacons. On dragon back or by their own wind powers, the Beacons make it to an archipelago of floating islands, hidden years ago by ancient Guardians in the sky. The goal now is to figure out just what in the hell the Entity is and try to stop it. But the question is.... How?

Hope after the Storm ; Tales of our trip to Buyende . On Saturday June 22nd, 2019 Destiny Harvest Ministries with the support of our #BeaconsOfHope Partners delivered help to the People of Nakabembe village and the four neighboring villages in the subcounty of Kidera in Buyende district who were hit by a stormy rain fall, lost their crops, houses and lives. Surely however small the help is , it goes a long way. Nakabembe village alone lost 15 people including a one year old baby. We spoke the word of hope which is the Gospel , prayed with them, especially those hit by house falling debrises as their house collapsed. We ask you to join us in this work by becoming a #beaconofhopepartner and enable many other souls realise their God given destiny. On watching the news of the disaster we posted on all our social media accounts asking friends to offer whatever help they can so we could extend a helping hand. Friends surely responded and we were able to provide clothes to three Local councils . We approximately clothed three hundred people . The experiences we had spoke to us . This parish we visited has no nearby school, hospital and a church that speaks hope and the good news . We feel called into this community to provide these much needed services . We felt called into this community. Wherever God calls us , that’s where we will go. Please consider praying with us , Volunteering to take counselling to this community, pull out your check book.
