Faye was never too fond of meeting new people. While she did want to branch out and make more friends, interactions were just uncomfortable to her. She didn't have too much experience with others in recent years. Lydia had been insisting that Faye meet her friend Malia, though. The banshee always said that Malia was a lot like Faye at one point and how Malia overcame that to adapt to society. She thought Malia could help Faye and honestly? Faye trusted Lydia’s judgement. She seemed really smart and her brother really liked her. Not to mention she’d been helpful to Faye, which is why she agreed to the meeting. Faye was definitely on edge but at least they were supposed to be meeting at a diner. Faye could shove her face with food and distract herself- which was exactly what she was doing when she saw Malia walk through the doors. “Uh.. hi.” Faye mumbled as she stood up, food practically falling out of her mouth. She extended her hand for Malia to shake but then pulled it away quickly, wondering if that was too weird. “You must be Malia.” Of course she was Malia. Faye visibly rolled her eyes at herself. “I’m Faye.”
