Wip of my brick stitch experiment in daylight
Bonus points go to anyone who can identify which triangle has the wrong color beads.
Watched a YouTube video on the Ames window illusion and decided to make one out of beads. Never mind that the horizontal pieces will probably be too floppy to really demonstrate the illusion in action, nope, we’re not gonna think about that.
Trying to figure out how to fix this. Attached the hinges wrong for the third cube and I’d like to salvage it as is without having to cut it off, but it doesn’t seem likely. Diagrams are nice but hot damn do they make my brain melt sometimes.
Finally began my bead loom nyan cat! Not sure if it’ll work for what I had intended but it’ll certainly be fun. Hopefully this goes better than my last bead loom experiment. I really enjoy the lustrous grey I went with (even though it was only because I didn’t have a matte grey on hand). Also debating changing the tail shape so it looks happier, but I’m not there yet.
My bead Phos model isn't bald anymore! Next I need to add limbs
I got the idea to make a poseable bead Phos months ago, but couldn't figure out the arms until today. So far it seems I've made a bust of Slenderman...
